Episcopal Church Women of Resurrection
All women at Church of the Resurrection members of the ECW.
We are women of the Episcopal Church: Rooted in our past and growing into God's future.
What We Do
The three focuses of the Episcopal Church Women's program are:
- To assist and enable the women of the church to carry out their mission and ministry.
- To encourage proactive advocacy for educational initiatives.
- To provide the opportunity for women to come together at Triennial Meeting for worship, study and action.
Activities
Fundraisers
Floor Fund — Cookbooks are for sale downstairs at 8:00am. All proceeds go to Floor Fund. Stay tuned for the “OLD RUG SALE” for this much needed renovation. Contact Lori Bridges.
Rummage Sale August 11 & 12 . Please donate your treasures to our annual Sale. Contact Rosalie Coburn.
Fun/Socials
July 23 — Bus trip to see the Stephen Foster story in Bardstown. Picnic on the way at a park. Bus will leave parking lot at 3pm. Cost: $20 plus bus fee and a picnic lunch. Watch for a sign up sheet. Contact Mary Broughton.
Meetings
There are no meetings in the summer. Our opening meeting will be Saturday Sept 16 with a bus trip for lunch at The Glitz in Nonesuch (Irish Acres). Stay tuned to your bulletin. Contact Fran Bennett.
